Help with your files
Everything you need to download, print and use your files. If you're still stuck, email us at sales@cocoscrafts.ca and we'll help.
Getting your files
Right after you pay, your order page opens with a download button for each file. Coco's Crafts also emails you a private link to the same page, so you can come back any time. If the email isn't in your inbox after a few minutes, check your junk, spam or promotions folder, and mark it "not junk" so future emails reach you. Emails come from sales@cocoscrafts.ca.
Downloading on a phone works, but printing is easiest from a computer. You can open the email link on your computer later.
Downloading your files again
- Find the order email from Coco's Crafts. Search your inbox for "Coco's Crafts".
- Click the private link in that email. It opens your order page.
- Press the download button for each file again.
Lost the email? Use Find my order: enter the email address you paid with and we'll email your private links again. Still stuck? Write to sales@cocoscrafts.ca from that address. Please keep your link private, it's just for you.
Why does my receipt say Link or Stripe?
Your payment and receipt are handled by Stripe through Link, so your order is sold through Link and the receipt may say Link or Stripe instead of Coco's Crafts. That's normal. Your download link comes separately, by email from Coco's Crafts. To download again, follow the steps above.
Your card or bank statement shows LINK.COM* COCOSCRAFTS (the exact wording can look a little different at some banks). If you don't recognise a charge, email sales@cocoscrafts.ca before contacting your bank: we can usually sort it out the same day.
Printing waterslide decals (clay plates and mugs)
- You need a printer and waterslide decal paper made for your kind of printer, plus the sealer your decal paper asks for.
- Open the PDF and print at 100% / Actual size. Turn off "Fit to page" or "Scale to fit", or the decals come out the wrong size.
- Measure the 10 mm check square with a ruler, and test the fit on plain paper before you print on decal paper.
- Follow your decal paper's directions for sealing, soaking and drying.
- Cut out a rim and its centre, soak them in water for a few seconds, then slide them onto your baked and sanded plate.
Printing paper & foil plate designs
- These print on plain printer paper, not decal paper.
- Print at 100% / Actual size (turn off "Fit to page"). Round designs should measure 28 mm across.
- Cut along the dashed line, then press the design with foil in the paper-plate mold of the same shape, just as Coco shows in the paper & foil plate video.
Using the 3D print files
- The files are STL files. Open them in your slicer, like Bambu Studio, PrusaSlicer or Cura, in millimetres at 100% scale.
- Each download has a printing guide. The models come without a brim or supports, so set those in your slicer for your own printer and material.
- No 3D printer? A local print shop or a library makerspace can print the files for you.
Opening ZIP files
Some downloads come as a ZIP file, a folder squeezed into one file. On a computer, double-click it (Windows: right-click and choose "Extract All"). On an iPhone or iPad, tap it in the Files app. On Android, open it in the Files app.
Prices, currency and tax
Prices are in US dollars. At checkout you may see your local currency and the exact amount before you pay. Any tax is added at checkout where it applies.
Can I sell what I make?
No. Every download comes with a personal-use licence: selling finished items made with the designs or files is not allowed, and the files may not be shared or resold. You're welcome to make miniatures for your own dollhouse and home, give finished pieces to family and friends as non-commercial gifts, and share photos of what you made. The licence in plain words.
How are the designs made?
We plan, prepare and test every collection for miniature crafting. The illustrations in our designs are created with AI tools under our creative direction, and every product page says how its artwork was made. The 3D models are designed for miniature crafting and tested before we sell them. Photos of finished pieces are real samples; 3D previews are computer renders.
Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to browse, buy and download here. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA, and we're still working on a few things, such as the moving 3D previews (each one has a Pause button, and they stay still if your device is set to reduce motion). You can make the text bigger with the A+ button at the top of every page. If anything is hard to use with your device or assistive technology, email sales@cocoscrafts.ca and we'll help you choose, buy and get your files another way.
